Oh, God please help me...
I have a really bad feeling about something. You see Miriam has been a very easy two year old... not that she hasn't had a "moment" here or there but they have been short and few. No, no terrible twos here. She's going to be three soon and about two weeks ago someone flipped a switch. The level of whine and fit throwing is unprecedented in this house. A simple "wait a second" results in a full out tantrum to say nothing of a "no". Yeah, the terrible threes are headed our way! But that's not what worries me... What worries me is Evan. Evan appears to be your more "traditional" child. He is almost two and about two weeks ago someone flipped his switch too. Again a simple "wait" results in throwing ones self on the floor... not to mention the "no". Yeah, the terrible twos are headed our way! Dear God, HELP ME!!! Before this year is over I will have no hair. *sob*

Your chldren sound like
Your chldren sound like mine. Lane, my oldest, didn't have a temper tantrum until he was 3 1/2. For about a month, Lane had what I thought were the worst tantrums possible. Now Candace is 2, and she is having several tantrums every day. Tuesday she had the worst one immaginable. It resulted in us leaving Lane's Little League practice. She screamed, "I want my pen!" for 40 straight minutes. Hang in there. If you are consistent, then the tantrums won't last forever.
