gDiaper update

Well, the trial run to church was a great success!  i find the diapers easy to put on... not quite as easy as disposable but not as hard as cloth... and easy to assemble.  The kids seemed very comfortable in them and changes were almost as quick as disposable. (I think once I am 100% comfortable with them, it will be a quick as disposables.) No leaks despite being on during Miriam's heaviest wetting time! :)  The real test will be on the road next week, but I'd say we're good to go!

Also, I was talking about the gDiapers in the nursery at church and discovered one of the gals has used them on her little one.  She loved them and only stopped due to cost.

gDiapers :)

Hey Danielle, I am so glad to hear that so far they are working well! I was so excited about them that I went to a local health food store and bought some last week. They were even cheaper there than they were online which was really nice. Their website has a store finder on it and that is how I found out that locally they are sold by Whole Foods and the health food store I bought mine at.

Quick question, how many of the cloth outsides are you keeping on hand? They recommended 4 but I just got the starter kit that has 2. Was wondering if you did the same and if 2 is enough.

Thanks for posting about these! I'm so excited to try them out but still have 2 months to wait until I have a little one to put them in :)

I also discovered that our

I also discovered that our local health food store sells the liners, but I havn't been in to check the price to see if it's better (with 10% sells tax it likely isn't!).

I bought 4 cloth covers total for my two kids. My guess is that if you use gDiapers full time (especially with a newborn/young infant) you would want  the 4 they recommend. I figure we'll start with 2 per kid since we will only be using them part time. I may buy more as money allows. :)
