Three years ago today....

Stopping over from CHS forum for the millionth time, I think. Your blog was one of the first I read about ET adoption, not too long after you guys were home I guess. Thanks for sharing your story here, and also giving a lot of feedback on the forum regularly. Congrats!

First of all,thank you for doing the home study dance with me! I just know it will work. :) Have I ever told you how little things have fallen in place for us....for instance, how I was looking at China you-tube videos but saw "Eva" to the right on a video scroll and clicked on it, b/c that's my daughters name,...watched the video, then just knew that Ethiopia was the country for us...now we buy Gobena coffee each month from the couple that adopted her; how I met Cynthia at an agency picnic, clicked with her immediately, and then contacted her and found out about her agency which we are using; how I found a beautiful Maya blog one day, then discovered she was sleeping in her mom's store less than a mile from my work...where I soon went to meet her mommy and talk about ET; ; AND when I was looking at agencies and the Ethiopia program, this beautiful baby girl with a colorful hat on just stole my heart on the website...and it was your Miriam, the pic that CHSFS uses of her...Now you are a huge part of my support group, and I have met that same beautiful girl in person. It is just amazing how things happen. This was long, but it is all reminders of everyday blessings and the amazing path that I am on to my next daughter. Here's to mothers and daughters *clink of wine glasses* to celebrate you and Miriam.

I also love the recent one with that absolutely gorgeous smile. What a sweetheart you've got! Anyhow thanks for sharing the pics of the whole family. You have a very beautiful family (and a handsome dh!). I always enjoy the pics you put on the top of your blog. You have some really great ones of your two kiddos.
