Guess who's a BIG SISTER!!

Yup, that's right... Miss Miriam is a big sister!
Two weeks ago tonight we received a call from our social worker from Miriam's adoption. She asked if we would be interested in an "opportunity". She told us about a little 10 month old boy in need of a family... were we interested? Well, after our heads stopped spinning, the answer was an emphatic "YES!" There were other families interested as well, but Sat we learned that we had been picked!! WOOOHHOOOO!!! Sunday afternoon we traveled across the state to pick up our little boy... Evan Charles Timoteo. Evan was born in Guatemala and a family here in the US was trying to adopt him. Sadly for them, due to circumstances beyond their control, they were unable to complete the adoption. So by the the grace of God, Evan was given to us! We are excited and in awe of both this little boy and the faithful, loving God who planned before time begin that he would be our son.

I am so thrilled for Miriam, Evan and of course their parents. Do they really have the same birthday? What a day. It is mine as well, so I am rather partial to it.

We went to see Mel and Lev this weekend and see our grandsons. They were showing us last weeks photos of Miss Miriam and Vaylin together. So sweet!!! Congrats on your new son and I cannot beleive that they share the same Birthday.

If this is NOT a sign from GOD that you were meant to be Evan's parents I don't know what could possibly top that one!!! Danielle, Hope you are feeling better soon, that your back will heal quickly from your fall!!! you are in our thoughts and prayers!!
