IT'S HERE!!!!

Our referral is here!!! Praise God! at last we got the call! 

Jan from the agency called Brian on his way home from work on the cell.  He got home and told me he needed to make a phone call and wanted me to listen in on it.  It never crossed my mind that this was THE CALL until I hear "Hello, Children's Home Society....".  Jan wasn't at her desk but she called back in about 10 minutes at 1:30 to tell us all about our little girl.  She is just 3.5 months right now, born June 12th.  Her orphanage name is Tideg which means "Let her grow".  All her medical info sounds perfect.  As is common with infants, we know nothing of her background just that she is from Hosanna south of Addis Ababa.  We do have a week to think before we except the referral but unless there is something that is not obvious from the info we have at this point, we will be accepting the referral.  We figure God chose her for us and who could possible do a better job?

God willing we will be able to go get her the first or second week of Nov right before she is 5 months old!

As I write this we are still waiting for her pictures... but Jan went out of her way to say she is very cute! :-)
